Rough conditions at Spanish Trail in Las Vegas for round 3 but your Boilers punch their ticket to the NCAA championship. All but 2 teams managed to finish under +10. The Boilers fired a +16 which tied them with leaders Arkansas. Freshman Jasmine Kahler was the low boiler finishing 8th overall. That was her first career top 10. Momo Sugiyama was just a stoke behind her. Jocelyn Bruch had the lowest round of the day for the Boilers, helped by a hole in one on the 7th. The Boilermakers’ runner-up performance was their best in an NCAA Regional since also finishing second in 2013.
Next up a trip to Carlsbad California for the NCAA Championship on May 17th at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa.
