Purdue Baseball is rolling right now. The boys took home wins in all 3 games this weekend against Northwestern, including Friday’s game at Wrigley. Because of that, Purdue is now tied atop the Big Ten standings.
“Purdue (29-15, 11-4 Big Ten) won its 10th consecutive Big Ten game to tie the 2001 team’s program record. The Boilermakers swept all three of their conference series in April, finishing the month with a 12-3 record overall. They have not trailed in Big Ten play in 63 consecutive innings, a streak that dates back to the start of the April 7 victory at Rutgers – win No. 4 of the 10-game surge.” – Purdue Sports
Just a wagon right now. Purdue has a weekend series at home vs Indiana this weekend. So get on out there for that. They’ll finish up with Michigan and Illinois before the Big Ten tourney.
🚂 @Caskenette_ is the 1st #Boilermaker ever w/ two 7+ RBI games in a season. @Cam_Gasser3 had a .700 OBP for the 2nd weekend in a row.#Purdue will enter May in 1st place for 1st time since 2012.

Don’t think we don’t see you too Softball! They close out the regular season against last place Michigan State at home this weekend with senior day. A sweep this weekend could put them as high as third in the final standings.
Weekend recap – This team has so much fight and persistence!!!
