Purdue women’s golf is 5th at +4 after day one of the Big Ten Championship in Maryland. While Michigan State has a commanding lead at -9, the Boilers are just 5 strokes back from second place. Momo Sugiyama is your low Boilers right now at -1. That’s good for 6th currently and 4 shots off the lead. Momo was 1 over on the front nine but carded 2 birdies on the back 9. Jade Gu managed to birdie 3 of the first 5 holes. But a double on 2, and no birdies on the back 9 dropped her down to 33rd. Natasha Kiel and Jocelyn Bruch both carded 73 today and are tied at 16th.
