Season 22 of ‘American Idol’ will be the last for judge Katy Perry. She’s been on ‘American Idol’ for seven seasons. Katy says just because she’s leaving, that doesn’t mean she’s retiring. She says she’s stepping away to tackle other projects. It’s been four years since her last album “Smile,” so maybe she’ll release another one? She also has a three-year-old with fiancé Orlando Bloom, so she’s been pretty busy!
