The ‘Star Trek’ universe on Paramount Plus is changing. The streamer has decided to renew ‘Strange New Worlds’ for a 4th season, while ‘Lower Decks’ will end with its upcoming fifth season. In other ‘Star Trek’ news, Paramount Pictures announced at CinemaCon that a new prequel film is in the works, this one taking place decades before the 2009 ‘Star Trek’ movie. ‘Andor’ director Toby Haynes will direct with J-J Abrams producing.
