A second player has hit the portal as the reigning 6th man of the year in the Big Ten, Mason Gillis, has entered the portal.
Purdue’s Mason Gillis has gone portaling, the portal has informed me and others.
Gillis averaged 6.5 points and 3.7 boards this past season while shooting 47 percent from 3.

We’ve been thru a lot with Mason. But he’s deciding to use his covid year somewhere else and I can respect that. Still, you can’t deny what a fan favorite he’s been here. We wish him the best of luck.
