I didn’t even know they could do this! This year, the NFL will have 2 Christmas Day games despite the fact that Christmas is on a Sunday. So where will you be able to watch those games while the kids scream about batteries for their new toys and ask when you’ll put together the new doll house? Well, that’s what we are going to find out. With 3 different networks and a couple of streaming companies interested, the NFL will start a bidding war via auction for the rights.
BREAKING: The NFL is poised to open the bidding for media rights to its two new Christmas Day games.
The over/under for starting bids could be in the $50 million range, sources tell @FOS.

So CBS, NBC, ABC/ESPN, Peacock, Amazon, Apple TV, and even Netflix could be in. Not gonna lie, this would be a great move for Apple TV to increase it’s subscribers. I would expect them to push hard. Pros seem to think the final offer should be around 100 million. The rich get richer.
