Gwyneth Paltrow is addressing the rumor that Bill Clinton fell asleep during a screening of her 1996 film Emma.
The actress appeared on “Hot Ones” and was asked by host Sean Evans, “Is it true that Bill Clinton passed out asleep during a White House screening of ‘Emma’?”
“True,” Paltrow answered. “He was snoring right in front of me. I was like, ‘Wow, I guess this is going to be a real hit movie.’ But it was!”
According to Variety, the film was a success by making almost $40 million worldwide on a budget of just under $8 million. It also was nominated for two Academy Awards, and won for Best Original Score.
