3D-PRINTED ROCKET LAUNCH SCRUBBED

By Bryan McGarvey Mar 9, 2023 | 3:59 AM

They’ll try again on Saturday to blast a 3D printed rocket into space. Yesterday’s  launch was scrubbed when the fuel  inside got too cold.  The Terran 1 rocket was  made almost entirely of 3Dvprinted partsthe first time anyone’s tried that. It’s small compared to other rockets; only about 11 stories tall (instead of 30). If it works, it could  make space travel a lot cheaper in the near future.
