The summer box office is struggling. ‘The Garfield Movie’ was number one with a low $14 million, while ‘Furiosa’ disappointed for another weekend, making almost $11 million for the number three spot. It was edged out for second place by ‘IF.’ Without any big event films, ticket sales were down 69% from a year ago when ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ opened to a massive $120 million.
