It was quiet the run, but it’s at it’s end as the Pacers are swept by the Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals 105-102 the final. It was another frustrating choke job with the lead for the Pacers, who couldn’t score in the last 3:33. But that’s been par for the course this series with late turnovers. Pacers were -32 this series in the second half and over time. They just failed to close the door, even when Tyrese Haliburton was on the court.
Nembhard had 24 to lead the Pacers to go along with 10 assists. There was no Haliburton as he continued dealing with a hamstring issue.
Fans were not happy with the way this one ended. Jason Tatum got a shot off after he pushed Myles Turner some. No call. The non-call that really frustrated Pacers fans was this one on TJ McConnell that didn’t get called a flagrant.
But the Pacers did it to themselves. They blew 3 late leads in this series. Now the offseason comes and lots of roster decisions to be made.
