Green Day have shared a third track from Saviors, which is due out January 19th.
It’s called “Dilemmia” and Billie Joe Armstrong sings about the difficulty of keeping one’s sobriety. The video has the band playing at a bar decked out in holiday lights and then sees Armstrong crash a Christmas party. Watch it now on YouTube.
Armstrong said in a statement, “‘Dilemma’ was one of those songs that was kind of easy to write because it was so personal to me. We’ve seen so many of our peers struggle with addiction and mental illness. This song is all about the pain that comes from those experiences.” Armstrong had his own experience to draw on as well, since he went into rehab back in 2012.
