Millions of people across North, South, and Central America were amazed by the “ring of fire” eclipse. It’s given that name because of the shape the sun takes as it’s partially blocked by the moon. The path of the eclipse was in the Southwest U.S., which included Utah and New Mexico. This rare type of eclipse will not be seen again in this part of the world until 2046. However, get ready, a total solar eclipse will pass over the U.S. in April.
