Scaled-down versions of the Gurby doll are lined up in a display at the Tiger Electronics LTD show room at the International Toy Center during the opening day of the American International Toy Fair in New York, February 8. Hoping to capitalize on the craze for Furby, the talking interactive doll that was one of the hottest toys over the holidays, McDonald's Corp. will be giving away scaled-down versions of the toy with Happy Meals beginning in late March.
Hasbro is bringing back the Furby. Watch for the furry dolls to hit retailers on July 15th. The new version comes in purple and coral and can say over 600 phrases and jokes. It also responds to hugs, pats on the head, and feedings.
