Kesha “Almost Died” While Freezing Her Eggs

Kesha reveals she suffered serious complications after freezing her eggs last year.

In a Self interview, the singer reveals, “I almost died in January.”  She “developed an uncommon yet serious complication from the fertility procedure” partially due to a weakened immune system.  The “Tik Tok” singer says after she performed in the Bahamas on New Year’s Eve, she was too weak to walk.  She was taken to the hospital, where doctors discovered Kesha had developed the complication.  She was, then, transfered to a Miami hospital, where she spent nine days.

Kesha says, “I finally feel recovered, but it took a couple months.”
