The LA Athletic Club announced yesterday Zach Edey is this year’s Wooden Award Winner, and as usual becomes the first Canadian to win the award and the first Boilermaker since Glenn Robinson did it in 1994.

For his career in 99 games, he has 1,533 points, the fourth most for a player through his junior season in school history (Carsen Edwards, Glenn Robinson, Rick Mount), with 847 rebounds, 148 blocks and 106 assists.

Now the question remains…will he come back. It’s expected that he’ll test the NBA waters but still keep his NCAA eligibility if he decides to return. If he did, he’d be just the 4th player to be the national player of the year and return for another season of college basketball (Ralph Sampson Tyler Hansbrough Oscar Tshiebwe). One this is for sure, it’s getting easier to name the awards he hasn’t won, rather then name all the awards he HAS won.

Per Purdue, here’s his current list for the season.
