It was a roller coaster of a day yesterday for Purdue football. Just one day after Christmas and Purdue was hit with this news:

Brady was a 4 star in state QB who looked to be the future for Purdue football had announced he would be leaving the program. It was demoralizing to a degree. You wanted to see a good in state QB make it here at Purdue. That wasn’t the only issue, it left the Quarterbacks room a bit thin. With Allen leaving, Michael Alaimo looked to be the new starting QB, though they did have one in this recruiting class entering, and former West Lafayette QB Kyle Adams. Needless to say, Purdue needed to find another QB out of the portal and they got their guy, Hudson Card. So who is Hudson Card?

Hudson is a red shirt sophomore transferring from Texas. He’s a former top 40 recruit who got some run in this season as a backup.  He played in 6 games, 4 of those starts. 75-108 928 yards 6 TDs 1 INT. His most notable performance was against West Virginia where he was 21-27 303 yds and 3 TDs. And who was calling the offensive plays for WVU in that one? Our new OC Grahm Harrell. Hey, how about some highlights!
