Marge and Homer Simpson, characters from the Fox TV animated series "The Simpsons," nuzzle in front of the Kaufman and Broad-built "Simpsons' House" as a workman prepares for a visit by the show's creator Matt Groening on September 16 in Henderson, Nevada. Groening, who got his first view of the house modeled after his show, was in town to promote Fox Interactive's "The Simpsons: Virtual Springfield" computer game.

The upcoming 34th season of The Simpsons will finally reveal how the show’s writers have consistently predicted the future.

Showrunner Matt Selman tells Deadline, “We have another crazy conceptual episode that explains how ‘The Simpsons’ [knows] the future. It’s a conceptual episode with lots of crazy stuff in it, but it does an explanation of how ‘The Simpsons’ can predict the future.”

For over three decades, the animated series has predicted many world events.  The New York Post reports those predictions include Donald Trump running for president, the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cincinnati Bengals winning the Super Bowl, and more.

The new season of The Simpson will premiere on Sunday, September 25th on FOX.
