Aaron Rossi, Former Drummer In Ministry And Prong, Dead At 44

Renowned drummer Aaron Rossi, known for his powerful playing with bands like Prong, Ministry, and Ankla, tragically passed away on January 27, 2025, due to a sudden heart attack. The news of his sad passing wasn’t officially announced until Thursday (March 6) in a post on Rossi’s official Facebook page. “Aaron leaving us so soon is beyond devastating, but we know that he would not want to be remembered that way,” the post reads. “There will be a Celebration of Life in the future and details will be shared as soon as possible. Aaron’s talent on the drums and his ear for music was incomparable – and his sound will live on forever.” His distinct drumming was featured on album’s like Prong’s Power of the Damager, Ministry’s From Beer to Eternity, and John 5’s Songs for Sanity.
