‘Young Sheldon’ went out with a bang. Not counting streaming, the series finale ended with over nine-million viewers. That’s the comedy’s most-viewed episode in four years. Its ratings were also the second-most of the season for a scripted series. The spinoff of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ was also a big win for CBS. It kept the network’s 19-year streak going of having the most-watched comedy of the season on its airwaves.
