Nicolas Cage will star in a live-action Spider-Man Noir series. It centers on a private investigator in New York City in the 1930s who must save the city’s future as its only superhero while confronting his past. Cage first voiced the character in the 2018 film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Sony Pictures Television Studios president Katherine Pope said she’s “absolutely thrilled to have Nicolas Cage starring in this series” and promises “no one else could bring such pathos, pain, and heart to this singular character.”
