Former Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell has introduced the third album with his current band, the Dirty Knobs, with its first single — “Dare to Dream,” which features a guest vocal by two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Graham Nash. The melodic track is one of several collaborations on “Vagabonds, Virgins & Misfits,” which comes out June 14.
Lucinda Williams duets with Campbell on “Hell or High Water,” while Chris Stapleton and Campbell’s fellow Heartbreaker Benmont Tench are featured on “Don’t Wait Up.”
Campbell and the Dirty Knobs hit the road on June 21 in Skokie, Ill, with shows in North America through the summer and touring slated throughout the year. Dates can be found via thedirtyknobs.com.
