‘SWAT’ has been resurrected again by CBS. The network renewed the drama series for an eighth season after it was first canceled, then uncanceled, and then newed again. In a statement, CBS said, “Here at CBS, we always ‘stay liquid’ and love a good dramatic twist, especially when it leads to an eighth season of ‘SWAT.'” Apparently the reason it was cancelled was not for low ratings, but a feud between lead Shemar Moore and the studio.
