Huge move by the Bears as they trade a 4th round pick for receiver Kennan Allen from the Chargers. Allen is a 6 time pro bowler who is coming off a career high in receptions and his second best season in terms of yards. He only played 13 games last season. Allen will help replace Darnell Mooney who just signed with the Falcons. Allen is in the last year of his 4 year contract he signed with LA. After declining to take a pay cut, the Chargers moved the receiver. The move, as of now, leaves the Bears with 4 remaining picks in the upcoming draft. Allen carries a cap hit of about 23 million, which will become the second highest on the team. The Bears will have just over 35 million remaining.
