Rebecca Ferguson shares how she once stood up for herself over a costar bullying her.
Per E! News, Ferguson appeared on the Feb. 27th episode of the Reign with Josh Smith podcast and shared how she once worked with an “absolute idiot of a costar.” She recalls working with this unnamed costar who “was being so insecure and angry because this person couldn’t get the scenes out.” “I think I was so vulnerable and uncomfortable, that I got screamed at,” the Dune: Part Two star says. “But, because this person was number one on the call sheet, there was no safety net for me. So no one had my back.” Ferguson says she walked off the stage crying.
However, the following day was different. “I looked at this person,” she shares. “and I said, ‘You can eff off. I’m gonna work towards a tennis ball. I never want to see you again.'” The actress admists being scared, but said, “It shouldn’t have to be that way.”
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson applauded his Hercules costar. He wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Hate seeing this but love seeing her stand up to b******t. Rebecca was my guardian angel sent from heaven on our set. I love that woman. I’d like to find out who did this.”
