Jon Stewart returned to ‘The Daily Show’ Monday night. The comedian says he is hoping that his weekly return to desk duty will be a cathartic experience for viewers and himself. Jon hosted the program for 16 years before stepping down in 2015. The show has not had a permanent host since his replacement, Trevor Noah, exited at the end of 2022.
