We’ve all done the sleds, dining hall trays, boxes…but this one might be a first….
A door on the second floor of Tarkington Residence Hall is now covered in scratches after a student reportedly used it as a sled over the weekend.https://t.co/sNnllTMZGK

Now have I taken a door off for beer pong before…you bet. But to sled? Kid might be an innovator.
“PUPD Capt. Song Kang said a building manager or assistant building manager called them at 9:37 p.m., saying “there’s one room in the dorm that’s missing a door.” Coincidentally, at 9:38 p.m. officers on patrol near Slayter reportedly saw someone using a full-sized door as a sled. Police logs list the event as a theft from the university and damage costing less than $750, but the student was not arrested, cited or charged because of the event, as of Tuesday afternoon.”
I think my favorite part is they just put it back on the hinges later. $750 on some scratches? That’ll buff right out! Please, don’t try this as it sounds like the door didn’t work well.
