A Wizards of Waverly Place sequel is coming to Disney+ with some familiar faces.
E! News reports Selena Gomez, who played Alex Russo on the series, and her on-screen brother David Henrie will return for the spin-off and servie as excutive producers. Selena shared on her Instagram Story that she was “so excited” to be returning as Alex.
The spinoff will include a new cast, including Euphoria star Janice LeAnn Brown, Call Me Kat‘s Alkaio Thiele, and Rutherford Falls star Mimi Gianopulos.
The new series will have Brown’s character will turn to Henrie’s character, Justin Russo, for magic training.
