Ciara was shocked to discover her relation to New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter.
Per the Daily Mail, the singer appeared on PBS’ Finding Your Roots, hosted by Henry Louis Gates, Jr. Using DNA samples, Gates Jr. can track celebrities’ ancestry. “What the world,” Ciara said shockingly. “You are kidding me.” “That is your DNA cousin,” Gates Jr. said in reference to Jeter.
Ciara posted a clip on her Instagram of the moment she found out about being cousins with Derek.
