Food Finders Food Bank held a press conference on Tuesday (Oct. 31) to kick of their annual fall food drive.
The 13th annual Drive Away Hunger Fall Food Drive encourages area businesses, schools, churches, and individuals to raise donations to ease the spread of hunger in Food Finders’ 16-county service area. Kier Crites Muller, President/CEO of Food Finders Food Bank, said their Fresh Market has seen a 32% increase in visits in the past year. This is attributed to inflaton and the rising costs of living among other key factors.
The Drive Away Hunger Fall Food Drive runs from November 1st through December 1st. To learn more and to find out how you can get involved, visit food-finders.org/dah
