Oprah Winfrey and Dwayne Johnson are helping those affected by the recent Maui wildfires.
TMZ reports the duo announced the People’s Fund of Maui on Thursday (Aug. 31). The fund is designed to help those impacted by the fires in Lahaina and Kula. People can receive $1,200 a month as they recover.
“We are honored to start this campaign with $10 million dollars and ask for your help in donating to those who have lost their homes,” Johnson said. “We thank you in advance for your contribution.”
