Hailey Whitters was opening for Dan+Shay Friday(8/11) night when the duo came out to surprise her with her first ever platinum record for her song, “Everything She Ain’t”.
While presenting Hailey with the plaque, Dan Smyers said,“Hailey, you’ve paid your dues in writing rooms, out here on the road. It is our tremendous honor to present you with your very first Platinum plaque for ‘Everything She Ain’t.’”
Hailey shared the news on social media writing, “WE PLATINUM BABY,” “thank you @danandshay for the best surprise ever, thank you to my label and team who’ve worked relentlessly on bringing this song to the masses and thank you most of all to the fans … this is all because of you.”
“Everything She Ain’t” is on the rise on Country Mediabase at #17 this week for Hailey.
