Grocery stores are placing lid locks on pints of ice cream in order to prevent theft. Ice cream theft is on the rise this Summer because of the current heatwave that is engulfing America. Grocery stores are placing lid locks on pints of Haagen-Dazs and other upeer-end ice creams. The locks look like plastic helmets and can only be unlocked by store personnel.
