Daryl Hannah fooled a bunch of people, and good! Hannah pulled off a masterful hoax, convincing social media and news sites that Mattel was gonna stop making Barbie dolls out of plastic. There was even a fake Barbie commercial and legit-looking website to go along with her bogus video announcement, claiming a line of six eco-warrior Barbies would be made out of biodegradable stuff, like mushrooms. Mattel confirms it’s fake.
