Registration is open for the 12th annual Purdue Boilermaker Half-Marathon & 5k. The race is Saturday, October 21st. The half-marathon and 5k courses currently remain the same as last year with the race beginning and ending outside of Ross-Ade Stadium.
Tuxedo Brothers Event Management Office Manager Jason Spinger says last year’s event was very successful. “Last year, we had approximately 2,600 participants.”
The race will once again benefit the Purdue Athletes Life Success Program, a free summer camp for children ages 8-12 whose family incomes are at or below federal poverty guidelines. Springer says, “Since 2010, we have raise over $110,000 for PALS.”
Regristration prices for the half-marathon & 5k increases on August 1st. Click here for more details and to register.
