There has been a new development in the death of rapper Tupac Shakur.
TMZ reports detectives from the Las Vegas Metro Police served a search warrant Tuesday (July 18) at a home in Henderson, NV. Police said it was “part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur homicide investigation.” No arrests have been made at this time.
The rapper’s stepbrother, Mopreme, told TMZ, “I’m really not impressed with this late in the game effort. Though I appreciate it, it’s late in the game. Las Vegas nor New York have done any significant investigation so far that we can see … so everyone stay tuned, let’s see what happens. I’m surprised like everyone else.”
Tupac was shot multiple times and killed on September 13, 1996 just off the Las Vegas Strip.
