Ava Max is the latest artist to be assulted by a fan during a concert.
PEOPLE reports a fan managed to slap Ava in face during her show Tuesday (June 20) in Los Angeles. The fan reached out and struck the singer while security attempted to hold him back. Ava continued to perform before telling the crowd goodbye.
Ava tweeted about the incident later that night. “He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye. He’s never coming to a show again. Thank you to the fans for being spectacular tonight in LA though,” she wrote.
TMZ reports the fan was not arrested, as he simply wanted to “hold her.”
