‘The Flash’ may be gone fast. The DC Comics film earned over $55 million at the domestic box office in its opening weekend. That’s well below industry expectations. Star Ezra Miller’s off-screen issues were cited as one of the reasons for the disappointing turnout. Pixar’s ‘Elemental’ also had a weak box office, grossing $29.5 million in its first weekend to come in second. On the bright side, ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ is still making tons of money – finishing number three in its third week of release with almost $28 million in ticket sales.
