Florida conservation officers were called to a mans home yesterday morning to retrieve a 10-foot alligator from his back yard swimming pool. They sent well-know trapper Todd Hardwick to try and wrangle the beast out of the pool before the animal tried to get out and go explore more of the house.  The gator did not want to come out of the pool, it was fighting so hard that it was splashing water all over the deck and creating a tricky situation for Hardwick to get him out. After they got the gator out a Monroe County sheriff’s officer assisted the team with removing the crocodile from the premise and releasing it back into the wild.  Crocodiles are a threatened species in Florida and endangered throughout the United States, before releasing it back into the wild, Hardwick said, “One more example in Florida of why everyone should turn on the pool light before they jump in for a swim at night.”
