Jameela Jamil reveals she dropped out of the Netflix series You over filming intimate scenes.
On Tuesday (May 2) episode of the Podcrushed podcast, Jamil said she doesn’t “do sex scenes.” She revealed she auditioned for season 4 of the Netflix series. However, she pulled out because her “character was supposed to be quite sexy” and is “so shy about anything sexy”.
The She-Hulk: Attorney at Law star brought up You star Penn Badgley’s comments asking showrunner Sera Gamble for fewer sex scenes out of respect for his marriage. Jameela said, “I didn’t even know that was a boundary that we could draw. That’s fantastic.’ But then I was like, ‘I should have gone and done the f****** show.'”
