TV host and former Cincinnati mayor Jerry Springer has died at the age 79 CNN reports.
Springer’s manager Bradley Singer confirmed the news on Thursday (Apr. 27).
A family spokesperson tells TMZ that Springer was dianosed with pancreatic cancer a few months ago. He died peacefully at his Chicago home.
Springer hosted the raucous The Jerry Springer Show for 27 years from 1991 to 2018. He also served as mayor of Cincinnati from 1977 to 1978.
