Matthew McConaughey’s Wife Shares Details on Lufthansa Flight That Fell 4,000 Feet

Matthew McConaughey’s wife was on board the Lufthansa flight that experienced sereve turbulance and diverted to Washington D.C. after falling nearly 4,000 feet.

On Thursday (Mar. 2) Camila Alves McConaughey shared a short video on her Instagram of the aftermath from the plane.  Camila wrote, “On Flight last night,I was told plane dropped almost 4000 feet, 7 people went to the hospital, Everything was flying everywhere.”

According to CNN, Lufthansa Flight 469 was traveling from Austin, Texas to Germany, when it began to experience “significant turbulance” over Tennessee.  A spokesperson for the Dulles, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority said seven people were transported to hospitals.
