Showtime has announced new “Dexter” spinoffs are coming. Yes, multiple spinoff shows exploring the backstories for the main characters. The first one will focus on a young, just out of college Dexter Morgan, as he joins Miami Metro, becoming one of the team while satisfying his nighttime cravings. This show will be called “Dexter: Origins”. The original “Dexter” premiered in 2006 and ran for eight seasons before ending in 2013.
