Just prior to taking her life reports from Radar Online say that Naomi had been in distress and her daughter Ashley was with her. Ashley reportedly texted Naomi’s therapist saying, “She’s having an episode. Yelling and crying and pacing … Emergency … Please come to mom’s … Now.”
Prior to her suicide, Naomi left a handwritten message on a Post-It that read “Do not let Wy come to my funeral. She’s mentally ill.”
Wynonna has continued on The Judds: The Final Tour and has said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that it’s been a healing experience saying, “I have to admit, I’ve had an incredible, incredible opportunity to heal through all of this, to cry and to say things onstage that I’ll never say again. This is a whole other level of deep, and I wasn’t expecting it … This is me with a broken heart being as open as I’ll probably ever be, and other people are responding to that in a way that I wasn’t expecting.”
There is much to this story and Radar Online has obtained photos from the Sheriff’s Office in Williamson County, Tennessee. Naomi died from a self-inflicted gunshot on April 30th.
