World’s Largest ‘Leg Lamp’ Becomes A Permanent Statue In Oklahoma

A 50 foot tall leg lamp, like the one in “A Christmas Story,” is now in Oklahoma. It’s made of fiberglass and honors Oklahoma University professor Noland James. He made a lamp out of a mannequin and kept it in his office.

According to his obituary, a man looking for a job at the university was enamored with the lamp and came by  often to  look at itand  then worked on the production team for “A Christmas Story.” You can check it out, on display, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
