Angelina Jolie detailed Brad Pitt’s alleged abusive behavior in their on-going court battle over their French winery.
In court documents obtained by US Weekly, Jolie alleged Pitt was “physically and emotionally abusive” toward her and their kids on a 2016 flight from France to California. In the documents filed in Los Angeles on October 4th, Jolie’s team said, “When one of the children verbally defended Jolie, Pitt lunged at his own child and Jolie grabbed him from behind to stop him. To get Jolie off his back, Pitt threw himself backwards into the airplane’s seats injuring Jolie’s back and elbow. The children rushed in and all bravely tried to protect each other. Before it was over, Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face. Some of the children pleaded with Pitt to stop. They were all frightened. Many were crying.” The document also said that Pitt “poured beer on Jolie” and “poured beer and red win on the children.”
Pitt was previously investigated for child abuse after the flight but was cleared of the allegations in November 2016.
