The Adam Sandler movie, The Waterboy was a hit in theaters in 1998. Sandler said recently that he would be interested in making a sequel.
Sandler told Variety magazine, “That would be fun. I love mama. I love Henry Winkler. He’s always gonna be Coach Klein to me.”
Seeing as the original made over $180 million worldwide, it’s worth another go at it.
