Photo Gallery- Inaugural Mocktail Monday- Mental Health America

On Monday Night, Mental Health America Wabash Valley Region held their first ever Mocktail Monday fundraiser at River City Community Center in Lafayette. The event was held to celebrate National Suicide Prevention Month and National Recovery Month.  Local bars and restaurants were tasked with creating a mocktail(non-alcoholic drink) and were paired with a local leader as their celebrity bartender.  Attendees made their way around the room, tried all the mocktails and voted for their favorites.  Tipping was encouraged and the money raised was given to Mental Health America Wabash Valley Region to help fund their programs.  Over 100 people attended the event and 15,000 dollars was raised.
