The Lafayette Aviators broke their attendance record for the 2022 season. According to a press release from the Lafayette Aviators, this season’s attendance was 1,549 fans per game – a 13% increase over the 2021 season. Total attendance was 44,511 for the year.
“It was another great summer at Loeb Stadium,” stated Aviators General Manager, David Krakower. “We are so appreciative of our fans and sponsors who make the magic happen at the ballpark and enjoy the entertainment we offer.”
The Aviators also expanded their mission in giving back to the community. This year the organization generated more than $35,000 for local non-profits.
The team finished the 2022 season with a record of 25-33 and fourth in the Wabash River Division.
