Purdue Alum and Indiana native Jason Gaskell is one of the cast members in season 7 of the Bravo series “Below Deck Mediterranean.” The reality show follows Captain Sandy and her crew aboard the 163-foot yacht “Home” to Malta, one of the smallest and most historic archipelagos in the world. He joins the crew as a deckhand.
Gaskell was born in Ohio and raised in Valparaiso, IN. According to Gaskell’s LinkedIn, he is a 2008 Purude graduate with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting. He later got his Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2020. After 10 years in finance, he left his career to become his own skipper on a sailboat. He currently is the owner of Sextant Sailing and Sextant Consulting out of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Jason’s bio on BravoTV.com says he has worked as an apprentice, dockhand and captain for many companies. While working in finance, he spent his free time traveling the world and stumbled upon his passion for sailing.
